Micro Teaching

Hello! Last class, I did micro teaching. So I' m going to review our class.

-Strong point
・ We used blackboard.
・ And when we explain about who, we wrote subject word (Makkenji) bigger and emphasized that subject is the same in the sentence using 'who'.

-Weak point
・ Our class was one-way class a little bit. We tried to explain about function of 'who but we couldn't make good idea to be more communicative class. So I thought Mr Hall's presentation was really good!
・ We didn't take much more time each section of our class. We want to take more time to practice.
・ In the practice (introduction of your friend) we should have prepared some sheet to write sutudent's answer. I'm sorry to trouble you.

I felt this practice class was very dificult, because I was very nervous when I stood in front of a lot of student. But everyone helped us activily. So I'm full of feeling of thanks!
Thank you for your listening and coopolation. Please give us your honest opinion to our class.

Hi☆This is rozen. My roll was a studenmt who don't like or dislike English.
I'll wrote my opinions.
①I think the strong point were that there was a exercise to create the introduction of our friends and explain like below.
Makkenji is the scientist.
wrote a famous book.
②I think the weak point was very difficult for us to make introductive sentenses.I want more example to make sentenses.
I think if we have more hints,we could have written more easily.

Thank you for your micro teaching!

Thank you for teaching!
You wrote an example sentence on black boad. So, I thought students could understand easily. I also agree with the Mr.JH's way. He asked some students, ‘What do you like?’. And he made example sentences that use ‘who’. I could enjoy your teaching.

Hi, Misato! This is Pizza.
Your Strong Points:
Your way in presenting grammar introducing Makkenjii was much more interesting than just reading textbook. And your writing on the blackboard helped us to understand.
Your Weak Point:
I think it is better to present more examples to help students to understand and make sentences by their selves.
Thank you for your teaching!

Hi Misato, this is Naojin.
You made detailed explanation using blackboad and we could understand the meaning, form and use of relative pronoun "who". I thought if you had more examples, students could understand easilly.
I think if we had some sheet during practice activity, students could practice more smoothly.
Thank you for your teaching.

Hello, Misato☆
You were so nervous before the lesson, but you changed good teacher♫
I think a way to teach a relative pronoun(関係代名詞)is very difficlt. But you are good job with Makkenji☺
In your class, Makkenji answered and translated the sentence. 'Who' was new word, but the other were not.
So, you had better ask ,call on and have them expect some students the answer of question.
Thank you for good teaching(ゝ∀・)☆

Hi!
I like your way to teach English. Your presentaition is very interesting and easy to understand for students.
Especially, the way which students introduce their friends with using "who" is nice idea. I think students like it.
As you wrote, students need more practice. Using practice sheets is also good idea.
Thank you for your teaching!

Hi I am NABESO . I think a rerative pronoun is very difficult but you tought it well . I think students can understand your teaching well because you used brackboard well and a pair work we did in the crass was interesting and easy to understand how to use the grammer . You had only ten minutes but you tought very well . Thank for your teaching .

Thank you for your micro teaching.
First, you made a name "Makkenji" that was funny for me,although my roll was a student has a problem at home and hates English teacher.
Of course, your way of class was good.Maybe to teach grammer was hard, but I could understand. You used black bord well and pointed words,I will refer.
Thank you.

Hi,this is Satona☆Thank you for your micro teaching!!
At first, you wrote a sentence as an example. That was easy to understand English structre. And both of you were very chreeful and interesting to us.They were your strong point,I think. While, I wanted you to explain some more about structure, and wanted some examples.
Anyway,your teaching was very good,and I liked it!!Thank you☆

Misato,
Thank you for your teaching. I enjoyed your class and learned many things from it. Now I am going to tell you about strong points and weak points of your class that I think.
*Strong Points*
You tried to explain how to make the sentence using a relative pronoun 'who' on the blackbord. It was a good way of teaching and would be easy to understand for students.
*Weak Points*
You did not have enough explanation for the use of 'who'. You said that the fanction of 'who' as a relative pronoun was to put two sentences together. But only this explanation would not make students correctly understand . Some students may make sentences to introduce their friends like this: *She plays tennis who studies English. This sentence is made by putting two sentences together as you explain. But you know it is not a correct sentence. So you should have had more explanation and more examples.
Anyway you did a good job. Teaching a structure is very difficult, isn't it? I think it would be a good experience for you. Thank you.

Hi!I'm Jaguar.
Thank you for teaching us English in the last class.
Your way of teaching was good because there were a lot of opportunity to practice. And it made me feel more understandable to practice the target word.
You were so good in publc. It was a good class!!

nakki さんのコメント...

Hi☆I think using two sentences was very good and important to teach Relative pronoun. If you give students more examples like Mr.JH,they can notice the mechanical point more easily.About practice,I felt it was a little difficult for students to make the sentence by themselves. So I wanted to have more examples or easier practice before that practice.
I enjoyed your class very much.
Thank you for your teaching!

kanage さんのコメント...

Hi!This is Kanage☆
Thank you for your micro teaching.
I think that teaching reactive pronoun is so difficult. However, you used a black board well. And you did your best teaching it.
You had better make chance of students can active. For example, thinking, short discussion, writing, pronouncing, and repeating.
Thanks♪

Makkenji is funny name. I laughed. And, Why is it named?
You look joyfull. Your smile give me peace of mind. There is a friendly atmosphere. You are good partner.
Thank you for teaching!

☆BU-CHAN☆ さんのコメント...

Hi! I'm Bu-chan.
Your lesson was very good!
You said "we want to take much more time each section of our class."
I can understand it. In teaching, the time pass immidiately. So a teacher tends to haste.
But it is not good for students.
I could understand it in my teaching-plactice.
You will have it in this year.
Have a confidence and be a good teacher!

karuha さんのコメント...

I think it was good that you teach the structure in real situation, so we were interested in the contents. If teachers also join the practice, it will become more communicative time. I hope you improve teaching more than now!

hikkun さんのコメント...

Thank you for your class.
The way of taking apart the sentences is easy to understand I think. The grammar is difficult to teach for a English begginer.
I want something explanation of the coupling structure of two sentences more.

wakame さんのコメント...

Hi! This is Wakame. I think that your present was so good.We could use "who" naturally in the situation. In addition, the practice was interesting because we could communicate with the partner. I think that we needed more practice before the main activity. It will be better for the students to make free sentences. Thank you for your teaching! See you!
